Hi all! I know, long time, no type. But I thought I'd take a min to jot down a bit about all the new things in my life:
You may know that I'm now in Pennsylvania, living in a lovely huge old brick house in a quaint little town. It's beautiful here! Yes, I moved to be with a wonderful woman who inspires and challenges me. In short, I'm home!
Yet any transition is never easy. It has been unexpectedly difficult to be far from my parents and a town I had lived in for so long... But as we know, if fear of change keeps our yang from moving us when the time is right, we languish. All things aligned for me at the right time and I knew well before the fact that this would be a season of transformation. It simply took a woman of incredible positive energy and vision to help birth this new life. And I am in unending gratitude for her love.
Spike is squarely living the high-life: fenced in yard, a brother and a doting mother! :)
I start my new job in about a week. I will be a grief councellor at a funeral home/cemetary. I'm quite excited about it. It seems like a great opportunity to use some of my gifting in bringing peace. I also find my own peace in cemetaries....the workplace is beautiful.
Needless to say, since the past month has been income-less for me, B and I have been pretty conservative with finances. We had discussed making it out to Em's for solstace, but have decided to stick to our town for a while. I hope all you who get out to celebrate have a wonderful time!
I'll try to get on here more often now that the routines are falling into place.
Peace!
